I am Marc Julien and I am a cancer survivor. Getting sick changed my life in so many positive ways. My view on “more, bigger and better” now means “more” love, achieve “bigger” goals and leave the world a “better” place. Cancer treatment crushed my body and it energized my mind. To get through the hundreds of needles, dozens of radiation treatments and the 7 hour chemo sessions, I repeatedly promised myself that once I was healthy I was going to challenge myself to achieve something totally out of the box.
In the summer of 2019, I made the choice to compete in The 2021 Race Across America, a 5 day 24/7, 3069 mile, 8 team member bicycle race from California to Annapolis, Maryland. I have found 7 perfect strangers, each impacted by cancer in their own way, to join me on this journey with one singular mission to prove cancer is a calling to achieve more in life.
We hope you will be inspired by our stories, our conviction and our commitment to win The Race Across America. Follow us on social media as we log thousands of miles over the next 18 months training for the race in June of 2021. Please share our mission with your friends and family and help us raise a ton of money to fight cancer with the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society.
We hope this challenge inspires you to take something on in your life. without saying anything at all.
Meet Our Team
As team principal, I am so proud of the eight-man team we have assembled. 6 of us are cancer survivors and all of us have been impacted by cancer in a profound way. We come from all parts of the United States and England. No matter our geographic location our efforts and desires come from the same location, a passion for life and a commitment to fighting cancer. Donate

We are 8 men with the desire to inspire others. We are sacrificing time with friends and family to train for our mission to win the Race Across America in 2021. We are committed to the training, the workouts and overcoming the pain that our bodies will endure to achieve our mission.
Our goal is to raise over half a million dollars for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society and other cancer related organizations. One in three people will at some point in their life be diagnosed with cancer. That means cancer will reveal itself in your life and some point if it has not already. It takes money to fight cancer, so please join the team and donate. The life you save could be your own.
If you have lost someone to cancer and you make a donation of $500 or more, we will place their name on our jerseys and/or bikes to commemorate them and their fight.
